The sleestaks were the main antagonists of the 70s children's show, "Land of the Lost." Sleestaks were bug-eyed, reptile-like humanoids that menaced the Marshal family in a primitive, dinosaur-filled world. It was eventually revealed that the Sleestaks were a devolved version of the technologically advanced Altrusians, who live in a perpetual time-loop of cultural ascension and decline in the Land of the Lost.
