A Dulahan is an Irish creature that takes the form of a headless figure astride a dark horse. The figure carries its grinning, oversize head under one arm while brandishing a razor sharp whip made from vertebrae with the other. The Dulahan is an omen of death in Irish culture. Wherever the Dulahan stops, a death is soon to occur. Some legends say that the Dulahan rides from town to town knocking on doors.
