31 Days of Monsters 2014: White Things

The White Things or White Devils of West Virginia have been the stuff of legends for as long as people lived there. Misshapen horned beings sporting a wooly coat, multiple arms, legs and eyes, the White Things are apparently ghostlike in nature. Many hunters and hikers who have been unfortunate enough to cross their paths attest that the monsters attack feels real enough as their claws rip and tear through flesh and bone, after the mauling, victims find themselves miraculously unharmed but with a persistent feeling of dread as if the creature is still hunting them. In recent years, the creatures have seemed fond of haunting regional Lover's Lanes, and have been given the new, more undignified name of Sheepsquatch.
