31 Days of Monsters: Cambion

This one deals with the birds and the bees, so it's a little NSFW. When demonic Succubi and Incubi feel the desire to start a family the Succubus mommy collects sperm from a human male victim and then passes it on to the Succubus daddy. He in turn passes it to his next female victim who eventually gives birth to a Cambion. Cambions possess none of their parents seductive manners, but are prized among demons for their corruptive influence on human society. Cambions can be recognized by the absence of a pulse until age 7, and their dislike of signs of affection. They also hate cartoons and sugary cereals.

31 Days of Monsters 2014: The Bubak

The Bubak is a strange bogeyman from the Czech Republic. He resembles a scarecrow and lurks around the banks of lakes and ponds looking for prey. To lure in victims, he makes the sound of a baby crying and when he catches you, he weaves your soul into cloth. He travels about at night in a tiny cart drawn by demonic cats.

31 Days of Monsters 2014: The Pontianak

The Pontianak of Indonesia is the spirit of a woman who died in childbirth. She sleeps in banana trees in the day, and wanders the forests looking for victims at night. When she is near, you will start to hear her baby cry. The farther away she is the louder the sound is. As she gets closer, the baby's cries seem to recede until she is right on top of you. She kills by ripping out her victim's guts and eating them. If your eyes are open when she catches you, she'll tear out your eyes first and feed them to her child.
The Pontianak has a hole at the back of her neck. If you stick a nail in the hole, she turns into a beautiful mortal woman. If married, she is the perfect wife — as long as the nail stays in place. If it is removed, she will change back into a wraith and kill her husband.

31 Days of Monsters 2014: The Aswang

The Aswang is a vampire/werewolf-like creature from the Philippines. Variously described as taking the form a dog-, pig-, bat- or cat-like monster, the aswang is a shapeshifter, who lives during the day as an unsuspecting member of the community. At night, however, the aswang transforms into a horrific beast that thirsts for blood and decaying human flesh. Aswangs are ghouls and eaters of the unborn. Aswangs will raid graves and eat corpses, leaving wooden dummies behind in the empty graves. These dummies will take the form of the dined-upon victim and rise from the grave to help spread the aswang curse. Some aswangs are described as having a sharp proboscis or tongue that they use to suck the blood from expectant mothers and their unborn children.
Despite these unsavory habits, during the day, while in human form, an aswang is described as being quite a nice neighbor to have. They form close ties with other humans during the day, taking pains to hunt far from home so as not to harm those they call friends.
